Waypoint is designed to help users create reminders associated with stores and locations.
Waypoint uses location information when you grant location permission. Location access is used to provide location-based reminders and to help find stores near you.
Waypoint may request "Always" location permission so that location-based reminders can work when the app is not currently open.
Reminder information and shopping items you create in Waypoint are stored locally on your device for the purpose of providing the app's reminder functionality.
Your device's location is used to determine when you are near a location associated with a reminder and to search for nearby stores.
Waypoint does not use your location for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Waypoint does not use your information for targeted advertising and does not track your activity across other companies' apps or websites.
Waypoint does not sell your personal information.
Location and reminder information is not shared by the developer with advertisers or data brokers.
Reminder information stored locally by Waypoint remains on your device until you delete the reminder or remove the app.
You can delete reminders directly within Waypoint.
You can change or revoke Waypoint's access to your location at any time through:
Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > Waypoint
Disabling location access may prevent location-based reminders from functioning.
Waypoint is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Waypoint changes. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
